The Trojans are counting on youth to provide their first line of defense this fall. In the absence of Antwaun Woods, Delvon Simmons and Greg Townsend Jr., who are now pursuing NFL careers, USC will look to sophomores Rasheem Green, Noah Jefferson, Jacob Daniel and Malik Dorton along with redshirt freshmen Kevin Scott and Christian Rector and freshman Liam Jimmons to anchor the line in new defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast's defense.
