Boasting a perfect 23-0 record, No. 1 USC women's water polo is hoping its upcoming trip to the NCAA Championships will yield the same outcome as the last time they held the top seed. The Women of Troy brought home an NCAA Title as a one-seed in 2013, and after securing the MPSF Title last weekend, the Trojans are intent on repeating history when the 2016 tournament opens on May 13.
The 2016 Championships will be a 10-team, single-elimination tournament that includes four MPSF teams - USC, UCLA, Stanford and Arizona State. The Trojans open play at 3:30 p.m. PT on May 13, playing the winner of one of two play-in games.
