The Trojans are back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011, which called for a March Madness-themed Trojans Live on Monday night before the team departed for Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday. Kicking off the show with John Jackson and Jordan Moore was head coach Andy Enfield, who led the Trojans to a 21-12 record this season, the greatest improvement among Power 5 schools.
Also calling in to the show was new USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin, who recapped USC's first week of Spring Football and provided his insight on this year's quarterback battle.
Perhaps the most exciting team on campus this spring is USC women's lacrosse, which currently boasts a program-best 5-0 record to begin the 2016 season. The Women of Troy's leading goal scorer, Michaela Michael, and elite midfielder, Amanda Johansen, dropped by The Lab to talk about their team's rapid ascent to the top of the sport.
Rounding out the crop of March Madness guests was USC point guard Jordan McLaughlin. The sophomore, alongside fellow point guard Julian Jacobs, has been the engine of the Trojan team this year, propelling USC to its best regular season record since 2009. The day before flying east, McLaughlin joined the show to talk about the Trojans' potential, his relationship with Jacobs and his thoughts on Thursday's matchup with the Friers.
