The Women of Troy secured the doubles point very quickly with wins from their top doubles pairs. Giuliana Olmos and Gabby Smith (pictured) won their match 6-0, and then Zoe Katz and Madison Westby clinched the doubles point for the Trojans, winning their match 6-2.
From there, the Trojans took care of the Ducks in all six of their singles matches. Olmos, ranked No. 22 in the country, set the tone for singles play with a three-set victory. But it was the sophomore Smith who went undefeated in both of her doubles and singles matches to lead the way against Oregon.
The Women of Troy will look to stay undefeated in the Pac-12 when they take on Utah in Salt Lake City this Friday at 12:30 p.m. PT. After that, the Trojans will head down to Boulder to face Colorado on Sunday at 11 a.m. PT. Be sure to follow @USCWomensTennis on Twitter to keep up with all the upcoming action!
