USC was picked to finish 10th in the Pac-12 by the conference's media before the season, yet the Trojans blew away those expectations, battling atop the conference for much of the year before finishing tied for sixth. On Monday, the Pac-12 honored Julian Jacobs, a player who epitomized the strides the team made this year, as a member of the All-Pac-12 First Team.

The junior point guard, who led the league in assists per game, finished the season with career highs across the board, averaging 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.3 steals. As his stats show, Jacobs did a little bit of everything for the Trojans, including adding invaluable leadership for a young team.
Jacobs is the lone Trojan on the All-Pac-12 First Team, though sophomore guard Jordan McLaughlin was given honorable mention status. Forward Bennie Boatwright was also an honorable mention for the All-Pac-12 Freshmen Team.
