Conference Drama

No. 8 USC men's tennis took a trip up to the Pacific Northwest to begin Pac-12 play last week and came home with a split after two dramatic dual matches. First, the Trojans fell to Washington, 4-3, on Friday, but then they rebounded to beat Oregon, 4-3, on Sunday.

USC is getting exceptional play from the top of its lineup right now with No. 1 Nick Crystal (pictured) and No. 2 Max de Vroome winning both their singles matches last week. In the comeback victory over the Ducks, Crystal and de Vroome dominated their opponents in straight sets, dropping five games combined.

At 11-4 overall and now 1-1 in conference, USC returns home to the newly renovated Marks Stadium for back-to-back matches this week. First, the Trojans battle Cal on Friday at 3 p.m., and then they will face Stanford on Saturday at Noon.
