USC shot just 36 percent in the first half and trailed the Cougars at the break, despite an astounding 12 lead changes in the game's first 20 minutes alone. But with their season on the line, the Trojans turned up the heat, shooting 60 percent in the game's final 20 minutes and posting 46 total rebounds. Courtney Jaco, who led her team with 19 points, moved to third on USC's all-time single-season three-point shooting list after nailing five threes in the win to bring her season total to 71. Next up, USC faces Oregon State at 6 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans lost both of their games against the Beavers during the regular season, and will need to bring the same intensity and teamwork shown in the second half of Thursday's victory in order to win.
