On the women's side, Kendall Ellis' 400m victory helped the Women of Troy come in third place. The women's team started the final day in first place and held on to finish in the top three.
Track & field glory belonged to USC's men this past weekend at the MPSF Championships in Seattle, Washington. Inside Dempsey Indoor, the Trojans were the only program to have both their men's and women's teams place in the competition's top three.
USC's men actually came into the final day of the competition in sixth place, needing a strong showing to turn the weekend into a championship. Four individual titles highlighted a triumphant performance as Ricky Morgan Jr. paced the victorious 4x400m relay team (school-record 3:07.32), along with Just'N Thymes, Zyaire Clemes and Adoree' Jackson, before grabbing the 400m crown on his own (school-record 46.45).
Robert Ford (pictured) sprinted to another win, besting the field in the 800m with a school-record time of 1:47.88. Eric Sloan, who won the long jump on the previous day, added a triple jump victory with a best leap of 53-6.25 (16.31m).

Once again this season, USC men's track & field will be boosted by some speedy football players during the spring. Jackson, who is an All-American long jumper, stretched his legs out in the 400m relay and then showed his burst in the 60m sprint (6.77), earning fourth place. He finished four spots ahead of freshman tailback Dominic Davis (6.85).
