Michael was the 2015 MPSF Player of the Year and became USC's first-ever IWLCA All-American last season. Another big year is expected from the junior attacker who set the conference record for draw controls in a game (15) and in a single season (123) in 2015. Johansen, a talented senior midfielder, is a three-time All-MPSF selection and has scored 103 goals in her Trojan career. Through two games this season, Michael has already scored eight goals while Johansen has added two goals and two assists.Â
The 25 semifinalists will be announced on April 28, and five finalists will be selected and announced on May 12. The 16th annual Tewaaraton Award ceremony will be held in Washington, D.C. on June 2.Â
