After less than a year of construction, USC men's and women's tennis celebrated the grand opening of the new Buntmann Family Tennis Center on Tuesday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony included speeches from men's head coach Peter Smith, women's head coach Richard Gallien, senior Max de Vroome and senior Giuliana Olmos.
In addition to new lockers, showers, team meeting rooms and lounges, the brand new tennis center features a renovated lobby, the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Family Student-Athlete Learning Studio and state-of-the-art courts in the David X. Marks Tennis Stadium equipped with PlaySight Smart Court technology.
The new courts provide both teams the opportunity to tap into the newest resources available to tennis coaches and athletes all over the world, including instant replay, slow motion replay, remote streaming and training and more.
