USC women's basketball split its home stand by beating Washington State, 64-62, on Sunday after losing a close decision to Washington, 61-53, on Friday. Despite playing undermanned without starters Jordan Adams and Brianna Barrett, the Women of Troy are still in the hunt for an NCAA Tournament bid with four games to go in the regular season.

The Trojans have relied heavily all season long on Harvard transfer Temi Fagbenle, and she continues to come through for head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke. Against the Cougars, she posted a career-high 26 points to go along with 13 rebounds for her ninth career double-double.
In the loss to the Huskies, sophomore Kristen Simon put together the standout performance with a career-high 21 rebounds, the fourth most in a single-game in program history. Cheryl Miller and Lisa Leslie, two of the sport's most iconic figures, are the only Women of Troy to pull down more rebounds in one game.
USC sits at 18-8 on the season with a pivotal road trip to the Oregon schools next on the docket. The Women of Troy play at No. 7 Oregon State on Friday (8 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks) and then finish the conference road schedule in Eugene on Sunday (2 p.m.).
