USC's strong streak began with Nick Crystal's two-set upset on court two, and was followed by narrow three-set victories from freshman Jake DeVine, freshman Logan Smith, sophomore Thibault Forget and senior Max de Vroome. De Vroome took down the nation's fourth-best player in Stanford's Tom Fawcett, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, en route to the Cardinal & Gold victory.
