Nathan Smith is a strong offensive lineman from nearby Murrieta Mesa High School, and brings a large presence to the Trojans' front line with his 6-foot-7 frame. As a senior, Smith made the 2015 Prep-Star All-American Dream Team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State first team and the USA Today All-California second team, while also competing for the Murrieta Mesa track and field team as a shotputter and discus thrower.
