Cowboys OT Tyron Smith, who played at USC from 2008-10, earned his fourth career Pro Bowl selection. This year, Smith has helped pave the way for the NFL's leading rusher: rookie Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys rank No. 5 in the league in total offense and No. 9 in the league in sacks allowed.
Joining Smith on the NFC Pro Bowl roster is his former teammate and current Vikings DE Everson Griffen. Griffen, who will make the trip to his second straight Pro Bowl, ranks in the Top 10 in the NFL among defensive ends in sacks, tackles, forced fumbles, TFL and QB hurries. The Vikings defensive captain played at USC from 2007-09.
Titans DT Jurrell Casey, who spent the same years at USC as Smith ('08-'10), will also make his second straight Pro Bowl appearance. He anchors the Tennessee defense with 37 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 TFL, 15 QB hits and 3 passes defended. Casey is also the Titans' selection for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
Second-year Jets DE Leonard Williams was named a first alternate for the Pro Bowl, meaning he'll be the first to get the call up if an AFC DE can't play in the game. Williams leads his team with 7 sacks and 19 QB hits, and second on the team with 59 tackles.
The Pro Bowl will take place on Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. PT at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL.
