Inzunza began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps and has served as an aviation operations chief. He was deployed overseas on operations such as Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
For his service, Inzunza has earned five Navy and Marine Corps achievement medals and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. USC Athletic Director Lynn Swann presented him with a USC Medal of Courage on Saturday.
