Magnetta enlisted in the U.S. Navy immediately after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. She worked primarily as an aviation electronics technician onboard vessels such as the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower and the U.S.S. John C. Stennis. Magnetta was also part of numerous commands involved directly with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After 11 years in the Navy, Magnetta is now enrolled in USC's Marshall School of Business, where she's working towards her second Master's degree.
