The Trojans were unranked in the first rollout of the rankings last week, sporting a 5-3 record, but made their debut in the Top 20 after a convincing 45-20 win over Oregon this weekend. By jumping into the Top 20, USC was the biggest riser in the rankings this week.
USC puts its five-game win streak and College Football Playoff ranking on the line this week in its matchup with Washington. The Huskies entered the rankings at No. 5, but moved up to No. 4 today. UW is undefeated and leads the conference in both scoring offense and scoring defense this season.
