USC men's basketball kicked off its 2016-17 season with a 75-61 win over Montana tonight.

Junior guard Elijah Stewart led the way with a career-high 30 points on the night. He went 14-16 from the free throw line and 4-6 from beyond the arc.
Sophomore forward Bennie Boatwright was out with back spasms, so true freshman Nick Rakocevic started in his place.
Rakocevic wasn't the only player to make his USC debut, though, as redshirt sophomore forward Shaqquan Aaron finally got to suit up after sitting out a year since transferring from Louisville. Aaron posted a career-high 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Up next for the Trojans is a 4 p.m. tilt with Omaha on Sunday.
