The Trojan offensive line, comprising LT Chad Wheeler, LG Damien Mama, C Nico Falah, RG Viane Talamaivao and RT Zach Banner (with occasional help from Chris Brown, Jordan Simmons and Chuma Edoga) was one of 18 units to make the semifinals.
USC has allowed 11 sacks in 11 games, tied for ninth in the nation and tops in the Pac-12. USC is fifth in the nation in sack percentage, only allowing a sack on 2.82% of QB drop backs this year.
The offensive line has helped the offense gain an average of 474.1 yards per game and 207.3 rush yards per game.
The unit has also given freshman QB Sam Darnold ample time to throw, helping him connect on 68.3 percent of his passes, which is second-best in the Pac-12 and No. 1 among all freshmen in the nation.
The Joe Moore Award will name its finalists on Nov. 29.
