Senior midfielder Morgan Andrews scored a brace to lift USC over Eastern Washington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

The second-seeded Trojans came out of the gates strong, scoring three goals in the first half to cruise to a 3-1 victory.
Andrews scored on a rocket from outside the box, which has become commonplace for her this season, and connected on a penalty kick drawn by defender Savannah Levin. Nicole Molen knocked in the third goal of the game on a header.
Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year Sammy Jo Prudhomme made 3 saves in the contest.
Next up for the Women of Troy is a second-round matchup with Texas A&M, who beat TCU, 1-0. The game kicks off on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at USC's McAlister Field.
