Junior CB Adoree' Jackson was named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week today for his impressive performance against Washington on Saturday. It's the second such award of the season for the Belleville, IL native.
Jackson intercepted Heisman hopeful Jake Browning twice in USC's 26-13 win over Washington. It was the first multi-INT game of Jackson's career, and the first multi-INT game of the season for Browning, who entered the game with just 3 INT thrown on the year.
Jackson also racked up 3 tackles, 1 pass breakup, 8 rush yards and 59 kickoff return yards in addition to recovering a blocked UW field goal attempt and returning it 17 yards.
Last week, Jackson was named a semifinalist for the 2016 Lott IMPACT Trophy. The finalists will be announced on Nov. 30.
