Jackson is one of three finalists for the nation's best defensive back award along with Michigan's Jourdan Lewis and LSU's Tre'Davious White. Jackson has 49 tackles on the season, including 2 TFL. He leads the team with 4 interceptions, 9 passes broken up and 13 passes defended.
Two of those interceptions came against UW QB Jake Browning, who only had 3 INT on the season heading into the game. Jackson also snagged an eye-popping INT that swung the momentum in USC's favor.
Jackson is the fourth Trojan to be named a finalist for the Thorpe Award, joining S Taylor Mays in 2008, S Troy Polamalu in 2002 and S Mark Carrier, who won the award in 1989.
The Home Depot College Football Awards will air on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. PT.
