On Thursday, Nicole Molen, Leah Pruitt and Hailey Hite found the back of the net to help the 5th-ranked Trojans top Washington State, 3-0.
The Trojans stayed home to host the Washington Huskies on Sunday in their last regular season match at McAlister Field. After a scoreless first half, Alex Anthony (pictured) netted the game-winner to lead USC to a 1-0 victory. Anthony is now tied for the team lead in goals scored this season, with seven.
The two wins marked USC's 10th and 11th shutouts of the season --- more than any other team in the Pac-12 can claim. USC's .436 goals against average also ranks first in the Pac-12, and eighth in the nation.
Next up for the Trojans is a road trip to Utah and Colorado, before returning to Los Angeles to play UCLA at the StubHub Center on Nov. 4.
