The Trojans have now won six straight after dropping their first and only loss of the season to Cal on Sept. 24.
No. 3 USC utilized a balanced scoring attack to beat Pepperdine, 15-4, at Uytengsu Aquatic Center on Friday. Five Trojans scored two goals apiece, leading the 10 total players who found the back of the net for USC. Junior goalie McQuin Baron (pictured) racked up 14 saves, moving into second place on USC's all-time saves list.
On Sunday, USC kept up the tough defense to cruise to a 20-4 victory over UC Irvine. Junior driver Matteo Morelli led the way with four goals, while the Edwards brothers (Blake and Lachlan) chipped in three each. The Trojans have now topped the Anteaters twice this season, by a combined score of 34-7.
Now, the Trojans enjoy a week off before hosting No. 7 UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.
