Dasic, who hails from Zagreb, Croatia, scored two goals against Pepperdine on Friday and two more against UC Irvine on Sunday. Entering the weekend, Dasic averaged less than one goal a game. He now has 15 on the season, tying him for fifth on the team and first among freshman.
Dasic is the second Trojan to win this award this season, as freshman two-meter man Matt Maier earned it back on Sept. 26. Maier, Dasic and the Trojans get back in the pool Sunday against UC Santa Barbara.
