Prior to this season, USC LB Cameron Smith was named to the 2016 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List. Named for two-time USC All-American Ronnie Lott, the award honors college football players who demonstrate each component of the IMPACT acronym: Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
