For the second consecutive week to start the season, USC women's volleyball won a tournament, moved up the national rankings and had Samantha Bricio named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week. The Women of Troy, now No. 6 in the latest AVCA Top 25, swept Creighton, then-No. 10 Kentucky and Northern Iowa to grab the UNI Tournament in Cedar Falls.

Bricio was the pick of the Pac again thanks to a milestone weekend, which saw her cross the 1,000 career-dig mark and 1,500 career kills. She is just the sixth Trojan player to collect 1,000 digs and 1,500 kills in her career.

The Women of Troy are back home this week for the USC Classic, pitting them against Utah State (Thursday at 10 a.m.), Pepperdine (Thursday at 8 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks), Idaho State (Friday at 10 a.m.) and New Mexico (Friday at 8 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks). All matches are at Galen Center.
