Doubling Down on No. 1
USC men's tennis alum Steve Johnson, paired with fellow American Sam Querrey, took out defending champions Bob and Mike Bryan, 16-time grand slam winners, in the first round of the 2015 U.S. Open. Johnson, who was knocked out of the singles draw on Monday, bounced back by showing off his doubles prowess, defeating the No. 1 seed 7-6 (4), 5-7, 6-3.
