Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 5 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Network
Without star receiver Dezmon Epps, who is suspended for Saturday's game, the Vandals will likely lean on their rushing attack to slow down the Trojans and work the clock. Penny was a workhorse in week one, running 17 times for 69 yards and 2 TDs. In 2014, he led the team in rushing with 590 yards and 12 TDs.

All About Us
Idaho appears to be USC's least threatening opponent this season, having won just one game in each of the last three years. However, the Trojans' goal is to get up for every game the same, so the challenge this week will be to bring championship level energy irregardless of the competition. Head coach Steve Sarkisian has plenty of things that he wants his team to clean up before Pac-12 play begins next week.
Browne Out
If all goes according to plan, backup QB Max Browne should get another opportunity this week to run the offense for an extended period of time. Browne is high on talent, but short on game experience, so any Coliseum reps would be valuable for the redshirt sophomore. He was impressive in the fourth quarter against Arkansas State, completing 3/5 for 66 yards.
Lucky 13
Sarkisian gave 13 true freshmen their debuts last Saturday, and the Trojan Family will likely be treated to even more of the talented neophytes this week. The head coach wants them to be themselves. With one game under their belt, he expects them to be more comfortable expressing their personality and style of play on the game. Look out for OLB Porter Gustin who vowed to play with reckless abandon against Idaho.
