USC women's soccer is off to a fast start, taking one of two at the New Mexico Lobos tournament last weekend, including a 1-0 shutout victory over the then No. 13 Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Women of Troy shut out two top 15 teams for 172 minutes in the tournament, the other being No. 1 Florida State, led by defender Dominique Randle. This defensive effort from Randle and her squad earned the redshirt junior Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career.
The Women of Troy start their season on the road for the first five games before heading home to McAllister Field on September 11 at 2:00 p.m. PT against San Diego.
