Former USC libero Nicole Davis is retiring from professional volleyball after an outstanding 11-year stint playing internationally with Team USA and at the club level. The 33-year-old is one of the most decorated USC volleyball alums winning back-to-back national championships while at Troy and winning two silver medals for the United States and a World Championship just last year.
In her senior season with the Women of Troy, Davis recorded 4.25 digs per game, which was second all-time in USC history, while her 450 total digs for the 2003 season landed her at fifth all-time.
Davis was the 20th player in USC women's volleyball history to compete in the Olympics. As an Olympian, Davis finished second for Best Libero at London 2012 as she led Team USA to another silver medal. At her first trip to the Olympics in 2008, Davis averaged 2.33 digs per set leading the United States to its first medal in women's volleyball since 1992.
