The 2014 freshman All-American adds a spot on the Thorpe Award watch list to his increasingly impressive preseason resume which already includes the Bronko Nagurski Award, Paul Hornung Award and Chuck Bednarik Award Watch Lists.
In 1989, Mark Carrier became the first and only Trojan to ever win the Thorpe Award. However USC has had two finalists in Troy Polamalu (2002) and Taylor Mays (2008).
