Shot putter Matt Katnik from St. John's Bosco HS won the state title by throwing an even 72-feet. The 305-pound senior is graduating with a 4.5 GPA, and he should make an immediate impact on the track & field program.

Dominic Davis could be the next two-sport star, adding to Caryl Smith-Gilbert's impressive stable of sprinters and Steve Sarkisian's talented corps of running backs and receivers. The Alemany product finished third in the 100m finals, running 10.557.
