Ishimatsu, who graduated this year with a 3.73 GPA in sociology and a minor in forensics and criminality, is the Trojans' first diver to win the award and the sixth USC woman to earn first team honors (Katie Haller won it twice). She is the fifth Trojan to make Academic All-American first team in the last three years.
USC men's diver Jordan Gear was named an Academic All-American second team selection. He graduated with a 3.82 GPA in French and cinematic arts critical studies to go along with five appearances as a Pac-12 finalist and one at the NCAA Championships.
