Three USC freshmen secured singles wins over NCAA Championship host Baylor on Sunday to propel the top-seeded Trojans to the semifinals for the second time in four seasons. After the duo of Zoe Katz and Sabrina Santamaria secured a hard-fought doubles point, Madison Westby, Meredith Xepoleas and Gabby Smith sealed the deal with three, two-set individual match victories to earn the Women of Troy a 4-1 win.
The Trojans face No. 4 Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. PT on Monday. The dual match will be broadcast live at NCAA Tournament Central.
