USC football enjoyed its best NFL Draft since 2011, having six Trojans selected in the seven rounds, including two first round picks for the first time since 2012. Plus, four USC players were picked up by NFL teams as undrafted free agents: DB Gerald Bowman (Ravens), OL Aundrey Walker (Dolphins), WR George Farmer (Cowboys) and OLB J.R. Tavai (Titans).
The six Trojans drafted trumped Notre Dame, which had only one, so USC is back atop the list of most all-time draft picks by school. Ohio State did not have a first round pick, so USC opened up its gap with the Buckeyes in that category thanks to Leonard Williams and Nelson Agholor.
