USC baseball is in desperation mode now, having fallen to Virginia in the opening game of the NCAA Regional at Lake Elsinore, leaving the Trojans to play UCSB for their season today at 3 p.m.
USC's performance in the 6-1 loss was not without highlights as Kyle Davis pitched a beautiful game, carrying a no-hitter through six innings, and Bobby Stahel made a remarkable catch in left field, which SportsCenter ranked as its No. 1 overall play on Friday.
