No. 15 USC baseball dropped two out of three at No. 22 Cal, falling to 35-18 on the season and 16-11 in conference. The Trojans are now alone in fifth place in the Pac-12.
USC won the series opener behind a strong outing from Kyle Davis, who pitched 8 innings in the 11-3 victory. The Trojans cooled down after that though, finding themselves on the wrong end of 7-5 and 7-2 scorelines on Sunday and Monday.
USC wraps up the regular season this weekend with a massive three-game set against No. 16 Arizona State (starting Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m.). The series culminates on Sunday (3 p.m. first pitch) with Senior Day.
