In just over one week, Leonard Williams will hear his name called in Chicago as presumably one of the first five picks in the 2015 NFL Draft. En route to that destination, the Trojan spent a day at ESPN joining First Take, The Herd with Colin Cowherd and more to discuss his journey to the NFL.
The Big Cat started his sports "car wash" joining Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith and Cari Champion on First Take to make his pick in the upcoming Pacquiao/Mayweather fight and weigh in on why he thinks he deserves to be the No. 1 pick in this year's draft.
Next up, Williams made the radio rounds as a guest on both The Herd with Colin Cowherd and SVP & Russillo. The defensive end shared with Cowherd why he chose to come to USC three years ago and how much he enjoyed his college experience, both on the football field and off. With Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Russillo, Williams expressed his excitement in having the opportunity to attend the draft and what he's looking to improve upon in the NFL.
Based on his Twitter, it's pretty clear Williams had a fun day at the ESPN studios both in front of and behind the camera. The NFL prospect will finish up team visits in the next week and then head to Chicago for the 2015 NFL Draft which begins at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, April 30.
