The Women of Troy continued their winning streak last weekend at the Pac-12 Invitational where they swept the singles and doubles titles. Meredith Xepoleas became the fourth straight Trojan to win the singles title winning her 17th consecutive singles match. Xepoleas entered the tournament as a number two seed and won all five matches in straight sets, ultimately defeating UCLA's Terri Fleming in the championship match.
Shortly after Xepoleas took the singles crown, her teammates followed suit to win the doubles championship. Gabriella DeSimone and Zoe Katz defeated Washington in the championship round 8-4 after sacrificing no more than two games in the previous matches.
In the Pac-12 Championship bracket, Zoe Scandalis and Giuliana Olmos made it to the semi-finals before losing on Saturday. The Women of Troy now have some time off as they prepare for the NCAA Championships beginning on May 9.
