USC Senior Associate Athletic Director Steve Lopes and the Trojan Marching Band will help kick off this weekend's 28th Annual Richstone Pier-to-Pier Walkathon, an event which will benefit the Richstone Family Center in recognition of National Child Abuse Awareness Month. The Center aims to prevent and treat child abuse by education families and decreasing violence in homes, schools and communities.Click here to register for the event or support the cause.
The Walkathon will take place on Saturday, April 25, with participants walking from the Manhattan Beach Pier to the Hermosa Beach Pier and back. Live music will take place along the route as well as food and beverage vendors, fitness trunk shows and more.
