USC women's lacrosse proved that it's in it to win it this season as the Women of Troy are contending for the conference title in the program's third year of existence. The Trojans finished up their home schedule by defeating Colorado 12-9 on Friday and then blasting Denver, the defending MPSF champions, 16-4 on Sunday.

The winning week sees USC women's lacrosse standing alone atop the conference. The Trojans are 10-3 overall and 6-0 in the MPSF, but Stanford is lurking close behind at 5-0 in conference play. The Women of Troy finish the regular season with three road games, including a showdown in Palo Alto this Sunday (live on Pac-12 Networks at 3 p.m.), before the MPSF Tournament in Denver (April 30 to May 3).
