Sporting its highest ranking since 2003, No. 6 USC baseball is back home tonight vs. UC Santa Barbara (6 p.m. at Dedeaux Field). The Trojans are 25-6 overall, riding a five-game winning streak.
Sophomore Jeremy Martinez has started all 31 games, playing primarily at first base, although he is a catcher by trade. Most importantly, head coach Dan Hubbs wants his bat in the lineup as Martinez is tied for third on the team with 22 RBI.
