The USC victory snapped the Wildcats' six-game winning streak, putting the Trojans in control of this weekend's three-game series, which features another tilt tonight at 6 p.m. PT and the finale Saturday at Noon. The games are not televised so follow @USC_Baseball on Twitter for updates.
Senior Dante Flores (pictured), who cracked a go-ahead triple as part of a three-run seventh inning, was the key to Thursday's win at the plate. The combination of starter Brent Wheatley and reliever Brooks Kriske made the 4-1 margin hold up, allowing just four hits over nine innings.
