Head coach Richard Gallien has not been afraid to trot out true freshmen trio Gabby Smith (pictured), Meredith Xepoleas and Madison Westby in his starting lineup. Against elite competition, Smith played No. 3 singles picking up a key point in the Michigan comeback. Xepoleas and Westby were even more productive at the bottom of the lineup securing four points combined in the three dual matches.
