USC women's lacrosse kicks off the 2015 season on Saturday as the Trojans host Northwestern at the Coliseum at 3 p.m. PT. Now entering the program's third year, the Women of Troy are looking to continue to contend for a top spot in the MPSF.

The Trojans were picked to finish third for the second consecutive year in the MPSF preseason coaches' poll, behind defending conference champion Denver and Stanford. Last season, USC finished in third with an overall record of 6-3 and lost to Oregon in the MPSF tournament quarterfinals.
Following their season opener, the Trojans head to the East Coast to take on Stony Brook (Feb. 20) and Marist (Feb. 22) in New York before returning home for their MPSF conference opener against Fresno State.
