USC baseball got the season off to a cracking start with a weekend sweep of Towson at Dedeaux Field. The Trojans' bats matched the Southern California weather heating up to the tune of 35 runs over the three games.

Junior A.J. Ramirez paced the hit parade with three doubles driving in five runs, but he was not the only Trojan benefiting from a profitable weekend at the plate. Garrett Stubbs, Dante Flores and Bobby Stahel picked up five hits apiece, while Stahel, Blake Lacey and Jeremy Martinez collected four RBIs each.
USC looks to run its winning streak to four with a short road trip to Cal State Fullerton today (6 p.m. first pitch). The Trojans have a busy week ahead as they return to host Kentucky (Thursday at 6 p.m.) and Oakland (Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.) at Dedeaux Field.
