For the eighth consecutive time, USC women's swimming and diving defeated crosstown rival UCLA in the annual dual meet at Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Friday. The Trojans downed the Bruins 174.5 to 125.5 on a day that included pool and meet records in several events.
Among others, Kendyl Stewart won the 100y fly in a pool and meet record 51.25 seconds. Chelsea Chenault won the 500y free with a meet and pool record of 4:40.98. Plus, Hannah Weiss set pool records in the 200y backstroke (1:53.83) and 100y back (51.92).
