USC women's lacrosse braved freezing temperatures to pick up its first win of the season on the road at Marist in Poughkeepsie, New York. The Women of Troy took down the Red Foxes behind hat tricks from junior Caroline de Lyra and sophomore Michaela Michael, who finished with four goals.

The Trojans have a quick turnaround now flying cross country back to sunny Southern California to begin conference play against Fresno State (Tuesday at 3 p.m. PT on McAlister Field). Head coach Lindsey Munday looked back at the road win and ahead to the MPSF opener in front of massive snow banks on the East Coast.
