The USC women's basketball team continued its winning ways this weekend, beating Southern Utah and UNLV by a combined margin of 70 points. The Trojans' hot, 8-0 start is now their best since the 1984-85 season.
The victorious weekend started on Friday against Southern Utah with a true team effort featuring four Trojans in double figures and 34 forced turnovers. Jordan Adams led the way with 17 points in the game that saw USC open with a 34-4 scoring streak. On Sunday, the Trojans put on another powerful performance, topping UNLV by 31 points for their fifth 30 plus point margin of victory. Shooting 50 percent in the game for the first time this year, the Women of Troy had three players in double figures led by Temi Fagbenle with 18 points.
